Save-the-Date Cards

Some couples may wish to send Save the Date cards to allow invitees to mark the date and plan ahead. Save-the-date cards are important for destination weddings or in cases where it may be out of state for most attendees.

Wedding Invitations

Invitations provide important information for your wedding and the look of your invitation reflects the style of your wedding. Invitations typically include the following:

  • Date, Time & Location
  • Include an RSVP card and Details cards if needed.

They may also include the following information:

  • Parents Names
  • Hosts Names

Other Cards that can be included with the Wedding Invitations are:

RSVP Cards – Wording should be kept simple to collect attendance information, meal selections, or dietary considerations. In some cases, you may include a line for guests to request a song. RSVP cards should also have a clear date by which the guests should respond, typically around 4 weeks before the wedding.

Details Cards – Including:

  • Accommodations
  • Reception
  • Map
  • Weekend Itinerary
  • Attire

For formal weddings, these would be on individual cards, but are more commonly combined with the necessary information for your wedding. It is important to keep information short and sweet and avoid excessive detail.
